Business Development Consultant

We are looking for an enthusiastic business development freelancer to contribute to generating B2B sales for our company. You will be responsible for end-to-end business development from cold calling to closing deals with schools, and work under the supervision of the BD Manager.

#End-to-end lead sourcing (including calling, approaching and emailing schools)
#Assist BD Manager in creating proposals for prospective client schools
#Fixing appointments with school decision-makers
#Get product training from BD Manager and give product presentations with him/her
#Follow up regularly with prospective client schools to understand/analyze roadblocks in the sales process
#Closing deals with the school, ideally as a pure B2B contract or a B2B2C contract
#Identify new opportunities for business with current and new client schools

What you will require:
#Excellent oral and written communication skills
#Excellent people skills and ability to form good relationships
#Sound presentation skills
#Interest in improving learning for students by using top-notch edtech products
#Ability to network with and build relationships with K-12 schools
#Aggressive sales skills and negotiation skills

This will be a 100% commission-based role for now but may transition to a full-time role. This also means that the upside to such a role is potentially unlimited. You will make a significant part of any money you bring in.
Anyone can apply, but preference will be given to applicants who have some demonstrable experience in working with schools, either as:

#Sales professionals who are being or have been a part of school-based businesses such as book publishing, school uniforms, school furniture, educational product suppliers, stationery suppliers, printing partners, transport contractors, and other similar professionals with strong school contacts
#Schools leaders, educators, training contractors, school PSA members, and other school staff

The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in schools as partners and selling our products and services to the school directly or to students in the school.

Location: UAE, KSA, Pakistan & Egypt
Language: English and Arabic (preferred in UAE, KSA & Egypt) or Urdu (preferred in Pakistan)
