Business Development Manager – Middle East
Silikal was founded in 1951 and we are a family-owned, German company in the construction chemicals industry. We develop, produce and distribute reactive resins for floor coatings in industry, trade and commerce, resins for road marking and waterproofing as well as reactive resin mortar and polymer concrete for civil engineering worldwide. Besides our headquarter in Germany we are operating our own offices in many countries in the world.
Currently we have an opening in our office in Dubai/United Arab Emirates as Business Development Manager Middle East.
Silikal Middle East has been operating successfully since 2014 in Dubai and provides our clients in the Middle East commercial and technical support.
Job responsibilities:
Identify, analyse and develop our relevant market in the construction industry and communicate with our target groups such as floor applicators, building contractors, architects, engineers and all other key decision makers.
Develop the local branch with all its requirements, such as sales, revenue and result planning as well as the implementation and controlling of marketing strategies.
Grow Silikal brand and present to potential clients with emphasis on new business development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
Assist and communicate with the local warehouse.
Qualifications:
Ideally, you should be a qualified civil engineer, business administrator or construction technician or equivalent expertise with some years of professional experience in the construction chemical- or the construction industry.
Experience and negotiating skills in sales.
Fluent in English.
German and Arabic language skills are an advantage.
You stand out due to an analytical and conceptual way of working.
Know how in flooring application technology would be preferable. Anyway we will provide you with product training to be prepared for the various challenges in the market.
