SECTION A: POSITION DESCRIPTION

1.0 Principal objective of the Job:

To build and maintain a strong industry/business community network and promote the company image and mission to customers, clients, the industry through various public relation activities.

2.0 Organizational Relationship (Reporting Relationship:

• Reports to HR & Support Services Director

• No Reportees

• Interacts / coordinates with the entire team, government institutions, public interest groups etc.

3.0 Major responsibilities related to the Position:

• Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with consumers, community, employees and public interest groups.

• Serve as a key point of contact for industries, institutions, and business communities.

• Content writing

SECTION B: JOB DESCRIPTION

4.0 Main tasks, duties and responsibilities related to the Job:

• Build and maintain positive trust relationship with public interest groups, consumers, and community representatives

• Write press releases and other promotional material to promote organizational image.

• Write and post advertising content online to maintain a web presence.

• Preparing and editing organizational publications, including employee newsletters for internal and external audiences.

• Updating and maintaining Web content.

• Plan company response to public incidents such as environmental or industrial mishap

• Conduct internal surveys to gather employee perspectives on work-life-policy related matters.

• Monitor social media websites for any adverse / unfavorable contents that affect company image.

• Purchase ad space on radio and television channels to promote client products

• Prepare speeches (content writing) if and when required.

• Deal with inquiries from the public, the press, and other organizations

• Organize community programs and corporate sponsorships to promote an organization.

5.0 Education:

Bachelor Degree (Preferably in Communications or Public Relations).

6.0 Knowledge:

• Pharma industry exposure.

• Technology / web savvy

• Data collection and Analytics.
