7. Develop guidelines for formulating reservoir exploitation strategies in accordance with static and dynamic modeling results. Rank proposed reservoir development strategies based on the company’s technical and financial indicators. Integrate results from geoscience, engineering and business studies into a comprehensive plan for developing hydrocarbon assets.

8. Coordinates with other departments and contractors for operational planning & arrangement and leads (under the supervision of the Supervisor) all reservoir engineering operations including collection and analysis of fluid samples, well logging, well stimulation jobs, flow tests and analyses, reservoir surveillance programs, core laboratory tests & analyses ensuring that reservoir engineering related operations meet the requirement of Company’s exploration and development programs, schedules, and safety standards.

9. Review and approve rate forecasts and reserve determinations for dry gas or condensate wells. Review and approve gas or condensate well designs and locations based on reservoir management objectives. Work with integrated subsurface team to evaluate, develop and recommend plans to maximize value of gas and condensate assets. Develop new approaches to complex problems in gas field reservoir management.

10. Develops (and upon approval) leads the execution of reservoir characterization, modelling, simulation and asset evaluation programs including PVT analysis, conventional & special core analysis, reservoir and individual well performance review, vertical flow profile analysis, up-scaling, setting boundary conditions and operational conditions, model initialization, history matching, future performance prediction and reserves evaluation.

11. Lead optimization efforts at own project or multiple projects within own area of responsibility; identify work habits and procedures that can be changed to optimize the fluids production. Analyze current production operations to identify the in-place bottlenecks and propose alternatives to improve performance.

12. Constructs and validates single well models and defines field development scenario while performing perditions runs and evaluates results to optimize reservoir management using reservoir simulation techniques.

13. Contributes to litho-logical and textural characterization /rock typing and relation to fluid flow, building /updating and up-scaling 3D static model and characterization of fluid systems.

14. Develops market intelligence on latest available reservoir technology and identifies & recommends (to the General Supervisor) the required technology (like artificial lift methods) to be acquired to support and enhance Reservoir engineering practices.

15. Provides data, assists in surface facilities network simulation for network system optimization, participates, and provides support in de-bottlenecking of certain facility layout. Provide support and inputs on understanding surface production/injection facilities function and layout.

16. Dfd Review and approve rate forecasts and reserve determinations for producing oil wells. Review and approve well designs and locations based on reservoir management objectives. Work with integrated subsurface team to evaluate, develop and recommend plans to maximize value of oil producing assets. Develop new approaches to complex problems in oil field reservoir management.

17. Designs and evaluates fluid and rock laboratory studies; evaluates field applications of enhanced oil recovery while designing pilot scale project including simulation and follows up on their implementation.

18. Designs pilot monitoring program for timely performance assessment and evaluate results for wider applications. Estimates original fluids in place by deterministic & probabilistic methods; estimates recovery factors & reserves by analytical methods.

19. Prepares section reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet Company and section requirements, policies and standards. Assists the General Supervisor in annual budget preparation, review and control on expenditures, in line with annual company departmental budget and annual operational plans.

20. Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment and Performs other related duties or assignments as directed by higher authorities.
