1. Job Purpose:

Support the HSE Manager and the team with planning, coordinating, and implementing of effective HSE policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that the company objectives are met.

Main Accountabilities / Duties:

· Assist in carrying out Risk Assessments and periodic review, development of safe work procedures, HSE plans, Objectives, KPI’s and Training plans. Review Objectives and KPI’s performance quarterly and present information for Management review.

· Participate HSE meetings, prepare MOM and document.

· Compilation of OSHMS documents, data and performance updates for internal and external communication and HSE decision making.

· Daily/weekly monitoring of IVMS. Report violations and take corrective actions to avoid future violations. Share IVMS data with operations team and clients as and when required and advise for actions.

· Collect and compile data for monthly/quarterly statistics on organization’s HSE performance. Assist in the preparation of HSE reports for clients and Sector Regulatory Authority.

· Investigate and assist in incident investigations, prepare reports for review and communicate internally and externally complying legal and contractual procedures.

· Prepare schedules for HSE site visits, audits, vehicle inspections and prepare reports of such events for timely implementation of corrective actions.

· Coordinate internal & external trainings. Deliver trainings and Tool Box Talks

· Conduct/participate in inspections and Audits at the AGT premises, Offices, Workshops and . . Client Sites to comply legal and contractual requirements. Prepare and submit action plans as agreed.

· Support in identifying best HSE performers and recommend for awards and appreciations as per AGT award plan.

· Assist in planning and carrying out HSE campaigns and emergency drills. Take active role in real emergency situations.

· Assist in identifying the requirements of training, PPE, Signage, Posters and other communication tools. Identify and report non compliances through daily safety tours.

Job Requirements

. Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.

. Occupational Health and Safety Degree, Diploma or Certificate (NEBOSH/IOSH)

. Qudorat Registration

. Minimum 4 years experience in HSE of which at least 2 years in supervisory level.

. Working knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OSHA 18001 and OSHMS management systems with auditing competency.

. Proven expertise in computers, especially in MS Office.

. Fluency in English & Hindi/Urdu. Fluency in Arabic desirable.

. Exposure to transport industry (Desirable)

. UAE Light vehicle license.
