One of our most trusted clients through Allsopp & Allsopp Recruitment based in UAE, who is an FMCG Trading Company is hiring for a Truck Fleet Manager/Director.
Purpose of the role: The Fleet Director is responsible for planning, directing, managing, coordinating and supervising the programs for the clients for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement and disposal of fleet vehicles.
Key Areas:
Role will be in charge of communicating with clients in various countries for their need in trucks / semitrailers / trailers.
Processing and deep understanding of the requirements of the client. Verifying the best truck / semitrailer manufacturer and approaching producer with technical specifications.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of trucks and semitrailers technical specifics and manufacturers market.
Develops schedules and procedures for and ensures adherence to routine maintenance and nonroutine repair of all vehicles in the company’s fleet
Key Requirements:
Excellent managerial and supervisory skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
10-15 years of experience in fleet maintenance or repair with two years in a supervisory role required.
