Major Responsibilities:

The QA/QC Engineer is expected to maintain and improve the construction quality practice in order to assure high quality services and deliverables. This shall include reviewing and improving the quality management systems (QMS), helping to establish key performance indicators (KPI), performing root cause analysis, problem solving techniques, identifying lesson learned, auditing engineering and construction activities and executing ongoing QA/AC activities across the project.

The QA/QC Engineer will also be expected to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and lead process and procedure improvements with the client organization.

Essential Job Duties:

Working with engineering and construction staff to identify areas for continuous improvement.
Developing and writing engineering and construction procedures as well as work instructions
Leading quality initiatives and activities on the project to ensure management goals and objectives are met
Coordinating with Client’s entities.
Communicating work process improvements to the responsible Manager.
Defining and implementing quality system tools and procedures to support work processes.
Performing internal audits of engineering and construction works.
Maintenance and ongoing improvement of a lessons learned program.
Report quality KPIs.
Preparing regular periodic quality reports on the effectiveness of the quality program/plan implementation.
Developing and administering training programs.
Maintaining manuals, specifications and standard drawings.
Quality control reviews of key project deliverables (i.e. engineering input to technical services and construction contracts, addendums, scopes of work, design change notices, field change documents etc.)
Prepare and submit Contractor’s Daily, Weekly and monthly reports
Prepare and conduct Contractor’s Bi-Weekly QA/QC Meeting
Manage the submittal process of shop drawings and documents in coordination with other team members

Skills and Qualifications:

BS/MS degree in Engineering.
Licensed/registered as a Professional/Chartered Engineer.
Minimum 5 years experience in producing/overseeing works in landscape, infrastructure or related industry encompassing activities associated with engineering, procurement, and construction of critical products, projects or services.
