IT Engineer (Desktop support) jobs in Dubai, UAE

o  Engineer with minimum of 2 years’ experience in Desktop support.

o  Must have good technical knowledge with regards to troubleshooting on Desktop (hardware & Software), LAN, WAN and VC Equipment.

o  Must be able to evaluate, co-ordinate, test and install software and hardware issues.

o  To ensure operational procedures are followed and maintained.

o  Provide advice and guidance to other technical and operational issues

o  Must be able to work with our suppliers and partners like hardware vendors, telco’s etc and manage the professional relationship with these suppliers.

o  Able to provide training to end users on systems and applications where required.

o  Must be a team player and able to work co-operatively. Must not be scared to ask questions if not sure about anything.

Important: Must be able to communicate well and professionally (We have Senior Executives for our region based in Dubai so he/she must be comfortable in working with them and representing our “brand”)

Qualifications

Suitable formal training path to certification standard must have been completed. Minimum requirement A+, N+ and Microsoft or Cisco Certification(example: CompTIA A+, CompTIA N+, Microsoft MCP, Cisco CCNA)
ICT related Bachelor or master’s degree
A suitable formal training path to certification standard, where appropriate, will need to be completed e.g. CCNA, MCP,
Sun Solaris, Oracle certified DBA, HP certified systems engineer etc.
If not above, any ICT diploma and/or degree.
Any other vendor qualifications or training will be advantage (example: Cisco Meraki, ITIL)
Lenovo laptops and desktop certified will be advantage.
