We are hiring “Asset Management Specialist” for 12 months long term job for Muscat-Duqm.
Position: “Asset Management Specialist”
Asset Management Specialist to ensure the effective and efficient management of the company’s assets throughout their entire lifecycle. The primary objective is to optimize asset performance, minimize risks, and maximize the value derived from these assets. The Asset Management Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the reliability, safety, and sustainability of Marafiq company’s infrastructure and equipment.
1. Asset Lifecycle Management:
Overseeing the entire lifecycle of utility assets, from acquisition and commissioning to maintenance, replacement, and disposal.
2. Developing Asset Management Strategies:
Developing and implementing effective asset management strategies to optimize asset performance, minimize downtime, extend asset life.
3. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
Identifying potential risks to assets and developing strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring continuity of essential utility services.
4. Asset Performance Monitoring:
Implementing systems and processes to monitor asset performance, analysing data, identifying areas for improvement.
5. Regulatory Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines related to asset management and utility operations.
6. Budgeting and Cost Control:
Collaborating with finance and operations teams to develop asset management budgets, tracking expenses, and optimizing costs associated with asset maintenance and replacements.
7. Asset Maintenance and Reliability:
Developing maintenance schedules and strategies to enhance asset reliability, minimize downtime, and increase overall operational efficiency.
8. Asset Data Management:
Establishing robust data management practices to maintain accurate records of assets, their condition, maintenance history etc.
9. Asset Reporting and Performance Analysis:
Preparing regular reports on asset performance, maintenance activities, and KPIs, and presenting these findings to stakeholders and management.
10. Continuous Improvement:
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in asset management processes, practices, and technologies, and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Educational & Professional Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics.
(CMRP) Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional or Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) will be preferable.
