Responsibilities
Develop and implement acquisition strategies for future contracts
Ensure that contract strategies, tenders, contracts, and variations are in full compliance with QP’s Policies and Procedures
Ensure compliance with Contracts Procedures and support Project Execution Procedures
Be the point of contact and expert EPC Contract and manage the EPC Contractor effectively in line with the contracts
Review EPC contractors’ invoices and prepare Progress Payment Certificates with Cost Control, costs, forecasts, and requests for extras
Performing site surveys, system designs, preparing specifications, presentations and documentation
Prepare responses to queries raised by the contractor, and develop and manage a system for expediting responses to letters raised by the contractor and PMT
Comprehensive administration of the contract of the project, ensuring the parties properly fulfill their obligations and responsibilities in a fully auditable manner
Responsible for internal reporting of all commercial and contractual issues
Ensure that the project has clear deliverables through handover meetings with the process team (estimating, design, commercial, procurement, plant, and operations) and ensure monitoring/compliance through the use of KPIs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Strong business acumen in project planning and management
Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
