This is an exciting time to join an ambitious start-up studio dedicated to sourcing innovative early stage projects from renowned academic research institutions with a focus towards rare disease, CNS, oncology and immunology therapy areas as well as looking to develop platform technologies for therapeutics.

They are now seeking an experienced project manager to lead cross-functional teams with a particular focus on small molecule projects.

Responsibilities

Work with stakeholders to prepare project plan, budget and schedules
Identify and define critical study and project tasks
Identify required resources to meet deliverables and schedule, and track projects to completion
Manage project team including meetings to discuss project status and address issues promptly
Manage external contract providers from contract negotiate through successful delivery
Proactively anticipate potential delays or problems, and provide solutions
Routinely update stakeholders on project, escalation of issues, if needed, and all other administrative duties (documentation, presentations or reports) as required
Requirements

PhD or equivalent in Life Science or related field
R&D experience in small molecule
Experience managing cross-functional teams or projects
Proficiency in project management or associated skills
Effective communication to both internal and external customers in written and oral form
Work with stakeholders to mitigate risks and overcome obstacles
