Gulf Food Center, a rapidly growing supermarket chain in Qatar, is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. Responsibilities:

Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment to enhance customer experience and employee productivity.
Support the Store Manager in implementing sales strategies and promotional activities to drive sales and achieve revenue targets.
Monitor inventory levels, coordinate restocking, and manage the ordering process to ensure adequate stock availability.
Collaborate with the Store Manager to recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of retail professionals.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
Adhere to and enforce company policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a consistent and professional store environment.
Act as a liaison between store employees and the Store Manager, ensuring effective communication and addressing issues as they arise.
Keep up to date with market trends and competitor activities, recommending adjustments to store strategies as needed.
Ensure compliance with all applicable local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

Must be currently based in Qatar.
Minimum 3 years of retail management experience, preferably within the supermarket or grocery sector.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively address and resolve customer issues.
Proficient in inventory management, merchandising, and retail operations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Arabic.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
