IIQAF is seeking an experienced and passionate Child Care Worker to join our dynamic team. We seek an individual who is deeply passionate about understanding and interacting with children’s needs to ensure that they feel safe and secure in their day-to-day activities.
Your role will be to provide care and support for young children, aged 0-5 years, in a safe and stimulating environment and to promote positive behavior.
Responsibilities
Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for young children
Follow an age-appropriate daily schedule for each child
Attend to children’s individual needs and provide appropriate care for their development, ensuring a positive and nurturing experience
Integrate engaging educational and play activities into daily routines to help foster social, emotional, intellectual and physical development
Assist in setting up of activities, story time and play time
Ensure that all safety regulations are followed including the preparation of meals, hygiene, and disinfection of toys
Participate in parent-teacher communication and developing learning plans for individual children
Requirements
High school diploma
One year of experience in child care or relevant training/certification
Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
Passion for teaching and learning
Excellent verbal communication skills and commitment to fostering trusting relationships with children, families and coworkers
Excellent organizational skills
Must fully commit to IIQAF’s mission of creating a safe and nurturing environment for children
