The ideal candidate for this position will have a broad technical skillset and extensive experience in this industry. As a result, the candidate should be able to design, develop and test the products required for the company’s needs. Moreover, the candidate should be able to work with other developers in determining product strategy.
Responsibilities
· Develop and designing relevant code on project needs
· Work in a team to design and build various mission-critical applications and ancillary technology modules within the payments realm.
· Documentation of all code and applications during the software development life-cycle (SDLC).
· Support the execution of internal testing, systems integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) of applications developed by the team.
· Demonstrating strong analytical skills within an experienced team to understand the customers’ business requirements; and use technical skills to specify, design, develop, test, and implement projects.
· Demonstrate a strong affinity to design and develop desktop and web-based applications, management reporting suites, and messaging protocols such as web services, payment industry standard message structures
· Mentoring junior developers
· Create test driven environment for relevant projects
Qualifications
· Flexible and motivated, with strong technical, organizational, and communication skills
· Experience in working in payment system technologies or in the financial services sector would be an added advantage.
· Strong experience in full software development life-cycle (SDLC)
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science 4-6 years of industry experience
· Technical depth across multiple languages
· Development experience in SQL, .NET framework (C#, ASP.NET), and messaging protocols such as ISO8583 and web services.
· Able to meet deadlines
· Leadership experience
· Strong communications skills
