Payroll Officer (Bilingual), Kuwait

Responsibilities

Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing and accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
Ensures compliance with state, and local payroll, wage, hourly pays and best practices.
Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
Identifies and recommends updates to payroll accounting software, systems, and procedures.
Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
Compile and analyze financial statements
Manage budgeting and forecasting
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Minimum 3 years of related experience required.
Proficient in using Payroll system – Oracle HRMS
Extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Good communication skill (fluent in both English and Arabic is a must)
