Responsibilities include conducting assessments, designing behavior management plans, providing counseling, and collaborating with educators and families to optimize learning environments. They contribute to the development of inclusive educational policies and programs aimed at enhancing student success and well-being.
Clinical Responsibilities
Assessment: Conducting thorough evaluations to assess and measure the patient’s skills related to educational and psychological areas of functioning.
Diagnosis: Accurately diagnosing disorders and determining the root causes difficulties.
Treatment Planning: Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and tailoring interventions to meet each patient’s specific needs and goals.
Therapy Sessions: Providing one-on-one or group therapy sessions to counsel patients and address behavioral and emotional aspects affecting academic performance.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly tracking and evaluating patients’ progress to make necessary adjustments to treatment plans and ensure ongoing improvement.
Collaborative Approach: Working closely with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to provide comprehensive care and promote effective communication in various settings.
Counselling and Support: Offering guidance and emotional support to patients and their families, helping them understand the condition and cope with the challenges associated with communication disorders.

Non-Clinical Responsibilities
Participate in team meetings to discuss patient cases, share knowledge, and contribute to care planning.
Provide timely and accurate documentation and communication in line with HAAD/DOH and insurance company standards.
Provide reports for health insurers, letters for GPs and referral sources to maintain a relationship to generate a referral stream.
Commitment to discovery calls answering patient queries and concerns longing on Odoo.
Ensuring adequate communication with admin staff and managers.
A commitment to social media and marketing strategies in line with promoting Perfect Balance clinic and brand.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology.
Licensure or certification as required by the state or country of practice.
Knowledge of various disorders that affect learning processes and their causes.
Ability to assess and diagnose challenges that impact learning abilities in individuals of all ages.
Familiarity with various assessment tools and techniques used in educational psychology.
Expertise in developing personalized treatment plans and therapy goals for patients.
Skill in providing individual and group therapy sessions.
Familiarity with adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
