An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced Manager to lead our logistics and warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a vital part of the overall services provided to both internal and external customers. This will involve coordinating all aspects of end-to-end logistics as well as managing people, processes and systems to ensure that services are conducted to the highest-level standards and in line with optimization plan.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the resolution of any impacts from within the Supply Chain either upstream or downstream that have a direct impact on the primary logistics and warehousing function, working collaboratively to meet targets. Through the establishment of defined process and procedure, you will have responsibility to drive out opportunities to optimize the service for the wider business benefit.

Manage all aspects of local and remote warehouses and logistical operations.
Manage key stakeholders to ensure effective operational management of own and 3PL providers and stores functions through both forward and reverse logistics.
Leading and working on strategic improvement projects with transport providers as and when needed as part of wider strategic initiatives
Management of capacity to ensure sufficient warehouse space for inbound from manufacturing sites and suppliers, and outbound to stores
Manage and grow a team; motivate organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce in line with organization Policies.
Responsibility for completing monthly, quarterly, and Financial Year End, stock takes and ensuring adjustments are carried out as required to support the delivery of the warehouse function.
Co-ordinate and manage the transport relating to goods being transferred by different providers.
Who you are…

Being a Logistics and Warehousing Manager means you will have prior working experience of +10 years and can demonstrate the ability to manage their time effectively and work under their own initiative

You’ll have operational acumen, being able to understand complex operational issues, and drive complex solutions to conclusion and will have demonstrable organizational and project planning skills.

We’re looking for someone who has a sound understanding of supplier management and the associated regulatory and competitive landscape, together with experience of logistics implementation and service management.
