The Pre Sales Entry level Broadcast Sales Engineer will work directly with senior staff to offer world-class products, and custom solutions for each project. He/she will be mentored in selling solutions for broadcast, sports, educational and corporate clients. He/she must be able to understand basic broadcast systems and have a thorough technical understanding of video, audio and data/networking.
Duties:
-work with senior staff to meet with customers, potential customers, to review and discuss needs and requirements.
– Analyze product and system requirements, provided by senior engineers and provide information and advice related to performance, specifications, architecture and other components.
– Assist to perform equipment demonstrations and presentations.
– Well informed with Microsoft office products, be able to work with excel, make powerpoint presentations, make forecasts and intelligently put together sales documents.
– Should be able to follow directions from the senior staff on which solutions when it comes to complicated technical problems.
– Technically well-informed can perform all levels of tasks such as troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent four-year college technical degree.
any pre-sales experience as a sales engineer for professional video and audio solutions is a plus.
Familiarity with video compression standards (H.264, HEVC, AV1, etc.)
Fluency in English and Arabic language, writing and reading.
