Develop the requirements and independently handle projects as Welding Engineer.
Job Responsibilities :
Good Understanding of welding operations and Process/Limitations.
Understanding of various welding processes and consumables in our yard
Material classifications
Information about various power sources used while welding.
Development and Adaptation of new welding processes.
Understand the technical requirements for a project from welding engineering point of view
Support Production team for welding consumables technical delivery conditions.
Understanding of essential variables, supplementary essential variables and non-essential variables for a welding procedure specification (WPS).
Understanding of various weld defects and ability to judge the quality of a weld
Weld repairs analysis and investigation Welding/PQR’s Plan
Good Flow of welders start from recruitment to strike of Arc on project.
Understanding and witnessing mechanical testing and NDT
Min Qualification :
BE in Welding/ Metallurgical/ Mechanical Engineering.
Additional Qualification :
AWS CWE Eng,/TWI (or any External certifications) Quality Auditor; Senior Inspector certifications; Hands own Welding Skills.
Exp:
3+ years in Welding/ Metallurgy aspects for fabrication industry.
