Job Description
Assist in developing and managing URC’s annual business and client development strategies/plans in line with the vision and objectives of URC. The role supports the internal portfolio management by identifying and segmenting potential investments and developing customized business plans.
Skill Requirements
Degree in Finance or related discipline or equivalent years of experience
An MBA / CFA will be an added advantage
Advanced Financial Modelling skills, Powerpoint presentations
English and Arabic essential
1 – 3 years of post-qualification experience
Significant experience in financial services preferably within real estate
Responsibilities
Implements URC’s business development strategy based on market research driven understanding of customer needs, priorities and trends, and recommends appropriate development, pricing and process engineering
Assists in evaluating market environment regularly and provides feedback and proposals to the internal departments on investment opportunities targeting specific customer segments
Identifies potential investment opportunities through asset and sector targeting and responds to approaches from external parties in alignment with the business development strategy
Conducts feasibility study, property valuations and appraisals of the proposed/potential investment opportunities and assists in primary research analyses the secondary research to identify new investment opportunities
Actively participates in assigned Cross Functional Teams (CFT) and ensures timely dissemination of information to CFT
Performs other responsibilities and tasks as required or as directed by management from time to time
