Major Responsibilities of Cost Controller
Support the Project Manager in the re-classification and following review of the estimate of the industrial area, transfers received during the Meeting and in the preparation of the Project budget;
Take part in the Kick-Off project meetings with clients and regular project meetings;
Ensure the regular collection and proper allocation of costs to different levels of the WBS and supervise the activities of economic and financial variance analysis of the project, contributing to the determination of the final estimates;
Check the SAL from Suppliers/Sub-contractors and enter them into system;
Monitor in collaboration with the Project Planner and Project Progress Controller, the parameters related to productivity (Suppliers, Subcontractors, etc..) to continuously provide reliable estimates;
Ensure the impact analysis on costs and revenues for project delays and/or modifications to the original plan caused by the customer and/or Suppliers and Sub-contractors, as well as generated by the project management;
Support the Contracts Administrator in compiling and verifying the active SAL in the preparation of Claim / Project Change Proposal;
Collaborate with the Project Manager in the proposed revision of project budgets and cash flow early in the case of significant changes to the initial scope of work or dates of collection;
Ensure the timely issue of the internal monthly report and cost report, gathering contributions from Project Planner, Project Progress Controller and Contracts Administrator, subjecting it to analysis and approval of the Project Manager;
Collaborate with the Project Manager, in the preparation of project Close-out reports.
General Responsbilities
Promote and support the compliance with the Code of Ethics and the observation of Corporate Values;
Actively cooperate within his team and towards the other functions and Companies belonging to the Group;
Provide an on-going information to his manager about the main activities and operational problems involving the project, and also point out any proposal which could improve his activities, striving in order to maintain a collaborative environment.
Technical Requirements & Knowledge
Economics degree;
At least 5 years of experience in the role, candidates with experience in management control activities or in an administration role with good expertise in analytic and general accounting will be considered;
Good skills regarding Microsoft Office, would be considered preferential the knowledge of SAP or equivalent system tools;
Good level in written and spoken English (minimum level B2).
