DevOps Engineer with strong experience in , Kubernetes Cluster Management, CI/CD pipelines implementation , management, Build & Release management, Infrastructure Automation.
Responsibilities:
· Automate the build and deployment processes. Introduce tools and improvements where necessary. Introduce DevOps practices to simplify the development, build and deployment process of software.
· To manage the creation and implementation of release and deployments into all test and production environments.
· Continually work towards making improvements in the release process.
· Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.
· Keep Jira updated following deployment.
· Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans as required.
· Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities related to the execution of the deployment Plans and related checklists
Skills:
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Powershell,Bash,Python
Experience in building and deploying large-scale applications in Java or Dot net
Good hands-on knowledge of Source Code Management (Version Control System) tools like Git and Subversion
Expert in developing Continuous Integration/ Delivery pipelines
Experience with automation/ integration tools like Jenkins
Knowledge of major cloud service providers, like AWS, Azure etc.
Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Programmable Infrastructure), and how you can achieve that by using tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc.
Hands-on knowledge of software containerization platforms like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm
proficiency with various development , testing and deployments tools git – jenkins – SAST, DAST tools ,Docker , Kubernetes , Open shift ,Chef , Ansible , Monitoring tools
Experience in Developing CICD pipeline.
