B.S. degree in Software Engineering, IT, Computer science or equivalent
· 5-7+ years of experience, as DBA expert with hands on experience in Oracle Databases, OCP preferred.
· Hands on system administrator, backup and recovery, high availability and disaster recovery expertise
· Hands on experience with Oracle Golden Gate, RMAN, Data Guard, Data Pump, cluster files systems ASM and OCFS.
· Expert with DB operations such as monitoring, performance tuning, and making recommendations after generating AWR and ADDR reports
· Good level knowledge of open source and nosql databases i.e. PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc. is a plus, or willingness to learn.
· Good understanding for container management systems i.e. Kubernetes, OpenShift and databases cluster setup is a plus, or willingness to learn.
· Good experience level in Linux/Unix and Shell scripting.
· Open to travel abroad on assignments
