Fluid Codes is seeking Technical Lead (CFD) with in-depth expertise in the Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) domain for a wide variety of applications preferably skilled in multiphase and combustion. The position involves understanding the customer engineering challenges, providing them the best-in-class CFD solutions and other feasibilities with Ansys CFD product portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, efficient post-sales technical support through email, telephone, and online meetings to Ansys Customers in the region.
Lead/Assist in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity such as Customer meetings and product presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations.
Deliver high-quality introductory, advanced, and customized training online or onsite to the customers in the region.
Be an inquisitive mind to know and learn the developments in Ansys CFD tools and also in the Computational Industry.
Provide technical guidance through mentoring & Coaching and oversee team members with their technical difficulties in the area of CFD simulations.
Initiate the technical discussion and develop thirst among the team to become SME in the field of Multiphase/Combustion/UDFs.
Provide insights and exhibit the “go-to person” for any technical guidance in the CFD team.
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
The ideal candidate shall have:
Hold a M.Sc./PhD in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical/Civil, Aerospace/Aeronautical, Chemical);
Have a strong background in fluid mechanics, heat transfer fundamentals, and expertise in CFD analysis and general numerical methods with 5+ years of Industrial experience in CFD and 2+ years of experience in solving CFD problems related to Multiphase/Combustion/Compressible flow/Multiphysics.
Hands-on experience in using Ansys Fluent/CFX models such as turbulence, radiation, MDM, multi-phase, DPM, species transport, and add-on modules.
Hands-on experience in handling dirty CAD models, Fluent meshing/Ansys meshing, and post-processing using CFD-Post or Ensight.
UDFs and scripting knowledge using Python would be added advantages.
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate and conduct webinars and excellent presentations to Customers;
Have a logical problem-solving approach and the ability to clearly communicate the situation and proposed solutions to both internal and external customers.
Have excellent CFD technical team leading ability with team player mind-set, giving priority to team goals and maintaining good team relationships, being truly part of the team.
Have an engaging personality, engineering curiosity, and willingness for continuous learning, project a professional image, and strong business acumen during customer interactions with the ability to travel up to 10%.
