We are searching for an experienced, skilled, and highly motivated Full Stack Cloud Developer with a solid track record of designing and developing full stack applications from front-end, back-end micro-services and mobile applications. Our systems cover a wide range of web and mobile applications required to support our hardware portfolio of products. As part of our new cloud strategy, we are looking for a talented individual having demonstrated strong ability to understand user requirements, user personas, defining user interfaces and implementing them leveraging the latest development tools and stacks on AWS cloud infrastructure.
As Full Stack Developer you’ll report to the Lead Server Engineer and work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers and other developers in designing and building new industry-changing products and solutions. The successful candidate will bring deep technical and software expertise, and a very strong disposition to constantly learn and advance their skills. They will also show a strong business acumen and judgment, and an ability to work within a fast moving and growing, smart building technology company.
What You Will Do
Analyze, review, create and contribute to the product requirements specifications
Write great robust code and help others write great code
Constantly look for ways to improve our products, code-base and development practices
Prepare documentation, user stories and work with our design team on mock-ups for the different application flows and design
Contribute to the selection of technology stacks and cloud architectures
Apply best practices for development, work with members to foster growth within the team
Contribute to the selection of technology stacks and cloud architectures
Develop mobile applications
Develop front-end and cloud back-end applications
DevOps development required on all aspects
Write test cases and execute tests
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Basic Qualifications
Extensive hands on development experience with .NET languages (.NET core, .NET Web API core framework concepts and fundamentals)
Capability to design, code, test and write documentation
AWS development exposure
Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Node.js)
Experience with micro-services / docker / Kubernetes, CDK or Terraform
Strong understanding of front-end designs and back-end APIs
Working knowledge and understanding of Agile software development
Experience of taking product requirements and developing architectures and designs to bring them to life
Ability to work effectively on shared projects with distributed remote teams of engineers, testers, and other developers
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Curious and passionate about technologies
Attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
Preferred Qualifications
Proven results and a history of project delivery working with Agile practices
Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the product
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
Experience in lighting, HVAC control, and automation
Experience with Azure or AWS IoT cloud solutions
DevOps experience
