The Project/Design Manager will be responsible to oversee smooth and timely workflow processes during the pre-contract consultancy services of interior projects assigned. The Project manager will represent the company in the capacity of Project manager. The Project Manager must possess the technical knowledge, experience and confidence to engage and professionally interact with the external design professionals, consultants, operator and client while successfully working with the internal project team

Responsibilities
Preparation and updates of the project program time schedule for ID consultancy services and weekly monitoring.
Review the project program time schedules of other consultants and coordinate with ID
Negotiate with client and consultants any request in change to timelines or staggered phase deliverables
Be familiar with project contract scope & deliverables for each phase, identify any ambiguity, and follow the team delivery of such, for each upcoming submission, cross checking with the company QAQP forms
Issue and follow up on variation orders
Request and monitor required briefs and documents required from external parties, for ID to progress
Organise and represent the company in project meetings as required and prepare minutes and issue
Assist in technical coordination meetings, and prepare minutes and issue, and follow up on actions internally & externally.
Mentoring and assisting designers in technical consultant coordination, where applicable.
Ability to manage multiple large scale projects concurrently
Be familiar with CAD & BIM documentation timelines and processes required, assisting the design team to manage effective documentation flow
Ability to travel to meet clients overseas.
Maintain project contact list
Complete reporting documents required by the client specific to the project. Client design review trackers, project status tracker, etc.
Maintain records/filing as per company procedures, and assist the DD in following up other team members to comply
Identify perceived project risks are communicated to the Design Director/Design Principal and delivery teams.
Identify early warning risks of delay in information required by ID of external parties, is formally communicated to the client
Corresponding with client on commercial issues
Resource allocation as per project budget and timeframes for internal processes.
Consolidate sub consultants’ programs with ID program deliverables to ensure deliverables as per program.
Have confidence in own ability to intelligently communicate with design team and Client as well as effectively leads the traders
Prepare monthly project status and forecasting summaries where required
Have an understanding of projects document control software portals. Eg: Aconex
Represent the company in the most effective and efficient way and ensure all responses and deliverables are on time and respectful to all parties

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar position, as ID, architecture, project management, construction or MEP as Project Manager or Design Manager, preferably with hotel industry experience
A bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture and project management.
Must have PMP certification
Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Strong team building, decision making, people management skills, motivating and a team player attitude
Possess strong administrative skills, record keeping, monthly reporting, time management and organisational skills
An understanding and interest in ID finishes, Materials and furniture
Possess a passion for hotel Interior design industry
