Project manager is responsible for making sure all buildings and their services meet the needs of the people that work in them and to be up to the international and company standards. He is accountable for services such as maintenance, cleaning, safety, landscaping, security and parking to make sure the surrounding environment is in a suitable condition to work.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

Ensuring all buildings meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards.
Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.
Allocate office space according to needs.
Handle insurance plans and service contracts.
Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Calculate and compare costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money.
Keep financial and non-financial records.
Project manages, supervise and coordinate the work of contractors.
Drafting reports and making written recommendations.
Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
Direct, coordinate and plan essential services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling.
Check that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and follows up on any deficiencies.
Use performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement.
Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and deal with the consequences.

Minimum qualifications / educational levels required for this position

Degree in facility management or engineering or business administration or relevant field.

Experience in FM projects & hospitality.
