Market Strategy and Planning Manager Jobs in Kuwait
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: responsible for leading the Local MS&P Team in delivering external focus
Initiatives Management: ensures deliverables on initiatives through frequent monitoring and follow-up on the Local MS&P Team; ensuring building JVC across all trade channels
Sales Fundamentals – leads and drives the MS & P and Field Sales Teams’ commercial vision to ensure winning with sales fundamentals in the integrated growth plans
Sales Plan and Driving Sales & Share – leads the strategic planning/initiatives management/sales fundamentals results in actionable sales plans for CBD with good ROI and target deliveries
Budget Management – leads the budget tracking and based on business understanding, secures investments into winning, financially healthy plans
Selling & Relationship Management – creates a multi-level, joint relationship focused on mutual pay-out and sustainable competitive advantage
Shopper, Market & Industry Understanding – stays on the leading edge of customer, channel and industry understanding
Strategy Alignment – creates business plans that link directly to customers’ value proposition; balances efforts to create the future with work that delivers today’s results; leads work across the country’s organizational external/internal boundaries
Project Management – ensures all the planned activities deliver expected or higher results in a timely manner with enough resources involved
Leadership & Organization Development – adapts or creates systems to deliver objectives; adapts leadership style to the situation; uses networks across formal and informal organizations to get things done
Supports management decisions, requirements, expectations
Commits to follow and observe all policies, rules and regulations
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as directed by his/her Line Manager/s
Educational Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business Management or Marketing
Minimum of 6 years of experience in the same or related field.
3-5 years of market strategy and management experience in FMCG; competitive knowledge of trading area & local market trends; ability to use best practiced business tools & standards; highly-proficient in MS Office Tools
