ATIC is eager to welcome an experienced Speech therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Dubai. We strive to provide outstanding client service, professional advancement, and meaningful community involvement in order to promote mental health throughout the region.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a solid understanding of medical terminology and related diagnoses. The primary responsibility of the Speech Therapist is to evaluate, diagnose, and provide clinical services to clients.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide clinical services to clients with communication and/or swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans to address deficits and optimize communication or swallowing outcomes
• Provide evidence-based treatments, interventions, and strategies to address speech and/or language deficits
• Conduct assessments to determine the nature and severity of communication/swallowing disorders
• Collaborate with other professionals, families, and schools to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as needed
• Develop and implement patient/family education programs
Qualifications and experience:
• 2 years’ experience as Speech Therapist
• Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license
• Fluent in English and advantageous if also fluent in Arabic
