We are looking for a “competent” inspection engineer for one year contract in Saudi Arabia – Jubail
Qualifications:
Masters or Bachelor degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering.
Possess certifications such as API(510/653/570/936/571/580) / AWS/CSWIP etc
Advance Vocal & presentation skills
Experience:
Minimum 10 years experience in static assets integrity assessment (reactors, Boilers, Heaters, Reformer, heat exchangers, Vessels & Columns, & FRP asset) failure analysis & design at Oil & Gas Plants / Refineries / Petrochemical Plants.
Experience in Structural integrity assessment, FFS, stress analysis
Experience in Design review & evaluation
Experience in Material selection
Experience or knowledge of Inspection, welding, NDT, refractory and damage mechanisms.
Key task:
Technical Studies & Analysis:
To carry out technical studies / failure analysis related to static equipment, piping, etc of the plant by analyzing the causes of failure and to provide remedial measures. (20%)
To carry out assets life assessment for static assets and piping’s (10%)
To provide operations with technical support in the area of static equipment, piping etc and system-know-how application. (10%)
To conduct analysis for bad acting/performing assets, and develop short and long term resolution plans (10%)
To carry out fitness-for-service for static asset (5%)
Asset Management Methodologies:
To conduct assessments of inspection in accordance with RBI Methodology.(5%)
To provide consultancy for RCM team during the workshop. (5%)
To participate in criticality assessment workshop (5%)
To lead or be member of RCA for issue related to plants (5%)
Technical Support:
To develop the scope of work for static asset during the project initiation phase (8%)
To review stress analysis reports & design requirement for static assets (8%)
To develop / review design packages during the repairs of static equipment & piping’s. (5%)
Participate in the turnaround/ shutdown meetings to review, during scope development stage. (3%)
Participate and provide mechanical input in the studies such as HAZOP, PHA, risk assessments etc. (2%)
Provide technical clarifications/ support to maintenance and vendors during execution activities. (4%)
