Hiring ERP Technical Specialist for Engineering and Construction Company Based in Kuwait.
About Client: Client is Engineering & Construction Company has provided diverse Electrical, Instrumentation, Control Systems, Mechanical and Plant services to the region’s Oil and Gas Production, Refining, Power, Desalination and Petrochemical industries. With projects spanning over Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq.
Position: ERP Technical Specialist
Salary: KD 1500 (All Inclusive) + Yearly Air Ticket. (Candidate will have to manage Food and Accommodation by Self)
Job Specification:
Bachelor degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related
field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IFS ERP system administration,
customization, and support.
Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle
DB).
Experience with programming languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, Java, C#) and
scripting.
Familiarity with ERP integration tools and middleware.
Understanding of ERP security and compliance requirements.
Key responsibilities
Manage and maintain the ERP system, ensuring optimal performance,
availability, and security. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues,
implement solutions, and apply patches, updates, and upgrades to the ERP
system.
Provide technical support to end-users, addressing and resolving ERP-related
issues.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and
procedures, educational and training as well.
Customize and configure the ERP system to meet the organization's specific needs including development and design custom reports, workflows, and interfaces in collaboration with developers.
Maintain and supervise ERP system integrations with other business applications
and systems and ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated
systems. Manage data migration and conversion projects.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect ERP data and applications to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Participate in ERP implementation projects, providing technical expertise and
support and assisting in gathering requirements, designing solutions, and testing functionalities.
Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization and stay updated with the latest ERP technologies, trends, and best practices.
