This role is responsible for overall planning and scheduling of all the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance activities of the plant and ensure that the work is performed in a safe, efficient, cost effective manner and to the Company’s technical, and HSE standards.
Key Accountabilities:
Plan, lead and organise the activities of the section to ensure that Maintenance plans and objectives are met through the optimisation and efficient utilisation of available manpower and working hours and that staff are motivated to realise potential and make significant contributions. Manage and prepare annual financial plan and planning model.
Participate in annual plant maintenance budgeting process, providing guideline to other Sections in Maintenance and consolidate operational and fixed maintenance budget for the department in addition to own section. Continually monitor progress and priorities and make necessary adjustments to ensure effective cost control.
Ensure maintenance department’s KPIs are developed in coordination with the respective sections in addition to Maintenance Planning section’s KPIs and continuously monitor and report any deviation of KPIs.
Analyse Maintenance Department work activities and processes. Develop, implement and make the necessary adjustments to the existing programs, procedures and schedules to improve strategies for effective work flow and control.
Ensure that the associated software/programs related to the maintenance planning function are maintained, streamlined and further enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the data that is available in the respective applications enabling the maintenance department to utilise the available functionalities to derive and make appropriate decisions.
Monitor maintenance programs are executed in a coordinated and cost effective manner through creation of the integrated maintenance plan. Assist with the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs for all production equipment and other facilities necessary in the operation of production plants.
Supervise MRP process in coordination with other line functions to optimise spare parts and ensure that the spare part is at optimum level from a technical and economical point of view.
Coordinating with respective line functions within the maintenance department in establishing the R&A plans for each section and to update, monitor and present the information to the management as and when required.
Assist the Maintenance Managers in preparation of annual Maintenance Budget and periodic analysis of cost vs. budget trends with recommendations for continual improvement.
Be a focal member of the improvement projects that are initiated within the maintenance department and be a strong link with other line functions to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in the outcome.
Arrange and assist for supplying qualified and competent contractor personnel available to the maintenance department to be supplied through frame agreement.
To ensure that technical document and drawings are continually updated and available in the company’s technical document management system.
Ensure delivery of technical documentation from new projects, revamps in accordance with the company’s standards/ procedures.
Coordinate with projects and relevant maintenance and/or production sections to ensure that the technical documentation delivered are comprehensive and adequate.
Maintain the integrity of maintenance systems in the company and ensure that maintenance systems are updated in line with Maintenance procedures and to meet continuous technological development and company’s operational needs.
Other Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering discipline.
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience with 5 years responsibility in leadership roles, preferable in Fertilizer, Petrochemical and Oil & Gas.
