Powerbar Gulf is looking for a highly efficient EDTV Engineer to join our growing team at Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
Responsibilities:
Analyze & Modify existing products to support the customer, manufacturing, applicable regulatory & industry standard & market requirement.
Consolidated testing of ACB according to IS/IEC-60947 part-2 (2003) & IEC-60947 part-2 (2009) to get the Test Report for the customer from Central Power Research Institute (Bangalore, Bhopal)
Coordinating with internal departments, viz., Engineering, Purchase, Production & Quality to provide technical support.
Administer value engineering for existing AH Breaker, Testing & Validated to achieve maximum profit.
Review customer complaints and take corrective action to achieve better performance & make the product user-friendly.
Conduct & train the Engineers/Site Technicians about the Electrical Design & Testing of newly developed products.
Participate in Design Review, both External & Internal Customer as required
Preparing List documents based on product requirements, customer specification & Industry Standard.
Prepared Quality Inspection Sheets, Testing Procedure & Process Sheets for Quality Department
Validated the drawings & documents to all department with the help of Engineering Change Note (ECN)
Review, Reliability prediction & Design Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (DFMEA)
Coordinate & Support Prototype manufacturing of products.
Provide Formal & Informal Updates to the Engineering Manager
Type Testing of MCCB’s & LT Panels.
Draw some ACB wiring drawings in Auto Cad 2D
Identify labor cost savings as part of ongoing improvements/lean initiatives.
Identify material cost savings as part of ongoing improvements/lean initiatives.
Improve production output as part of ongoing improvements/lean initiatives.
Shared resource across Quality and R&D (50 % time in each area)

Qualifications:
Electrical Engineering Graduate
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the same field
Technically strong in Electrical Engineering principles.
Production Management Time and Motion Study
Knowledgeable in Auto Cad 2D
