Job Title: Procurement Engineer
Location: Riyadh, KSA
Duration: Full Time
Responsibilities:
Responsible to source, negotiating, and purchasing materials from local vendors/suppliers.
Need to be aware of supplier prequalification, procurement planning, P2P Cycle, and expediting with inbound/outbound logistics.
Need to be aware of vendor evaluation and their performance metric.
Need to be aware of specific procurement & logistics challenges in the Commercial sector on Integrated systems with a general awareness of QHSE requirements.
Capable of issue resolution, having knowledge of Export and import documentation for local and international shipments as per Saudi Customs and local Zone policies. Awareness of the process of getting approval from Chamber, BOE declaration approval from Trade and Customs for shipments.
Evaluate the vendor’s quotations to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project
Preparation and release of Purchase Orders to suppliers based on standard purchasing T&C involving material data/ terms of payment etc. and preparations of Invoices subsequently.
Following up on Purchase Orders delivery and payments.
Resolve supply, quality, service & invoicing issues with vendors and update respective personals regarding the same. Regularly Identify new suppliers in the local and international market, and maintain good supplier relationships throughout the business tenure.
Sourcing materials according to the customer requirements from suppliers all over the world with the best price, quality, and lead times.
Preparing Procurement Plan and Procurement monthly / weekly PO tracking report.
Required Skills:
Experience in procuring, strategic sourcing, pricing, and contract negotiations; should have negotiation aptitude.

Procure Digital, Telecom, and ELV products which will include everything from Integrated systems, IoT or Smart Cities,
Should know how to negotiate with vendors and customers.
Must have sound knowledge in technical terminologies like ELV/Converged Networks/digital/ICT/Smart Cities.
Basic/Advanced Professional Qualification in Procurement/Supply Chain is desirable.
Minimum of 8 Years Experience in procurement activities on large projects in the oil & gas, refinery, and petrochemical industries
Project purchasing experience.
Direct purchasing on a global basis
Ability to prepare negotiation strategies/techniques and participate/lead negotiations.
Good knowledge of project procurement execution (start to finish)
Good knowledge of Oil and Gas, Aramco, HCIS standards in supply chain or related.
Preferred bachelor from Science /Electrical/Electronic or similar hands-on experience
Should have a good command of English (Speaking & written) and Speaking Arabic would be an advantage.
