One of our clients in chemical process industries is hiring for the position of a Sales Executive.
Job Purpose
Promote and sell a range of products for assigned territory (Oman). Expand on new and existing customers by developing strong customer relationships, liaising with the client market and responding to sales and technical inquiries in order to achieve the budgeted sales, gross margin, and customer satisfaction targets and to increase market share in the territory by managing balance for internal processes, ensuring that is seen as a preferred supplier of high-quality products, solutions and services.
Job Responsibilities
Strengthen new and existing customer relationships by providing excellent service on technical and commercial needs in order to develop long term and loyal customers
Analyze market trends by developing products and samples in coordination with a local laboratory in order to meet customer requirements and lessen market competition
Support with marketing activities by assisting with brochure and event management in order to improve customer insights and enhance the image and brand of the company
Assist with timely payment collections from the customer by regular follow up and monitoring to ensure good cash flow for the business
To follow up and monitor Key Projects closely by ensuring products are used in order to achieve targeted sales budget
Coordinate with internal departments like Customer Service, Marketing and Production to ensure high quality of service is provided
Main Tasks
Implement the strategic plan to achieve the KPI’s
Plan and execute customer visits on a regular basis
Take responsibility for the management of relationships at all levels in key accounts
Identify market trends and product needs of key customers.
Increase sales of new value-added products
Assess reasons for competitor activity in the territory and suggest measures to improve penetration
Discuss with customers their needs new products, pricing etc. and to coordinate with the lab and with the Sales & Marketing Manager
Maintain coordination with customers and accounts department to ensure timely collection
Monitor sales report for volume, value, gross margin on a regular basis
Monitor and take necessary action on expired goods, pending order, hit rate, and deliverables
