Responsibilities & Duties:

Identifies, solicits and develops new catering business through targeting new customers, direct sales from existing accounts and contact new customers in the market.
Solicitation of new and of existing business should be through a combination of outside sales calls, appointments, telemarketing, social media, site tours, constant prospecting, and networking.
Develop positive working relationship with existing customers for repeated catering deals.
Ensure quality services and operations by building trustful and positive relationships with customers and co-workers.
Interact with customers to get feedback on products and services offered.
Maintain a database of prospective and current customers.
Responds to sales inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food and beverage services, etc
handles all details of definite groups including menu planning, process Banquet Event Orders, and obtain guarantees, distribution of group resumes, VIP’s, rooming lists, and billing.
Discussing contract requirements with customers
Managing stock control financial planning and managing budgets
Keeping staff motivated to provide the highest standard of service

Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant major

Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in any related filed

Proficiency in MS-Office applications.

Leadership – experience in fine dining or catering services required.

Customer Service – Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.

Sales Skills – Achieves sales goals; overcomes objections with persuasion and persistence; initiates new contacts; maintains customer satisfaction; maintains records and promptly submits information.

Planning/Organizing – Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; plans for additional resources; sets goals and objectives; organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; develops realistic action plans.
