Senior Resident Engineer Job Vacancy In Dubai
One of our clients is a leading Engineering consultancy currently looking for Senior Resident Engineer to be based in Dubai.
You will be required to lead a supervision team for a large project in Dubai. Ideal candidate would have previous experience in managing large scale civil public realm or infrastructure projects.
Responsible for contract management, administration and coordination on projects of various sizes and types
Responsible for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating construction engineering documents
Liaising between the department, project staff and contractor in resolution of project issues
Read and interpret plans, specifications and special provisions
Responsible for monitoring assigned staff to determine the contractors activities are monitored and controlled in accordance with project plans, specifications and contractual requirements
Review and evaluate claims
Represent projects / clients at meetings and conferences
Monitor contractor progress and compare with approved progress schedule
Assist with the mentoring, motivation and development of staff
Understand the Middle East budgetary targets for industry and HSE Group and to be able to translate those to projects
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineer or equivalent.
Professional affiliation would be a plus.
Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience with emphasis on UAE experience.
