We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer as a QA/QC Engineer (previous +4 Years’ working experience in Oil & Gas sector in Jubail Industrial City or Yanbu Industrial City, KSA) to join our Operations Department.
We are in search of a Planning Engineer who closely knows how businesses runs in the area and have enough experience in Valves and Motors. The applicant must obtain knowledge of Engineering Planning, Process-Compliance skills, knowledge of Project Estimation, Execution Strategies, Techno-Commercial Drafting abilities, Shutdown Package Preparation, and Method Statements Preparations.
Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate you will hold an Engineering Bachelor’s degree Mechanical engineering from a recognized and approved program.
You MUST have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in refining or petrochemicals focusing on oil and gas feilds, including experience in the added value of operations in Valves Testing, Motor Rewinding, Balancing, Pumps maintenance, Over-Healing and Electro-Mechanical activities.
The candidate has broad technical credibility and a deep understanding of engineering standards to implement them on daily operations.
The candidate has an extensive track record initiating, guiding, conducting projects and developments in oil and gas with an ability to connect technology, standards & developments and operational excellence.
The candidate has deciding ability on proper engineering techniques and milestone sequences for each project stage is the most important role. The Applicant should be able set targets for activities based on each phase of a project plan and ensure it meets client’s specifications. Estimations for timescales and costs using specialized design software packages. (e.g. Primavera P6)
The candidate has broad understanding of ARAMCO and SABIC procedures and standards, and is capable of meeting their needs in terms of planning requirements and standard requirements.
The candidate has the vision, the energy and the entrepreneurship spirit to develop and update new standards and tackle challenges.
The candidate has the ability to anticipate, appreciate, catalyze and make the most of changes and new developments.
The candidate has excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills
Duties & Responsibilities:
The candidate has the ability to monitoring day-to-day work progress for a project and provide accurate weekly and monthly reports by swiftly communicating potential progress delays or project slippages. Tracking and analysing field results is another key responsibility. You will continually make comparisons between planned progress and actual progress and report any differences to your lead project manager. You will also study the impact of alternative approaches.
The candidate must work closely with others involved in a project and directs the daily workload of subordinate team members. You will attend crucial meetings and provide current status updates to vendors, supervisors, and other stakeholders. Managing overall project communications is a critical part of your successful completing of the role.
The candidate has the ability to analyse expenses and identify opportunities to save cost, make sure complex projects are handled on time and on budget by overseeing the project planning, inventory services, cost control, team leadership, and project management.
The candidate has the ability to drive continuous improvement by working with leadership teams is a key duty for your role. You will identify gaps in key performance areas and plan activities to increase overall project efficiency. Planning engineers provide guidance and deliver schedules to facilitate project execution strategy.
The candidate manages the documentation and institutionalization of lessons learned concerning planning. And prepare regular reports to top management in this regards.
The candidate monitor the proper implementation of daily operations.
The candidate coordinates with the Operation Manager to ensure that planning and WBS plan are aligned.
The candidate coordinates with Procurement for purchasing materials and ensuring that it meets ALSAMAMAT’s quality standards.
