Job Opening: Sales Engineer for E&I
Department: E&I
Reports to: Department Head / Divisional Manager
Liaises with: Department Head / Divisional Manager / Other Members of the Sales Team and Other Technical Experts
1. Duties and Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their needs thoroughly.
– Possess in-depth knowledge of E&I services and articulate the benefits of company products.
– Plan and conduct customer visits to meet or exceed sales targets.
– Monitor tender websites and inquiry portals regularly.
– Negotiate tender and contract terms, ensuring company profit margins are maintained.
– Provide technical documentation, reports, and budget estimates for bids and proposals.
– Handle site visits and tender submissions to customers.
– Uphold a positive company image among customers, vendors, and competitors.
– Strategically plan sales activities and calls to maximize productivity.
– Actively promote services and products using effective presentations.
– Follow up promptly on sales leads and quotations.
– Maintain accurate customer account records and follow up on all written quotations.
– Ensure compliance with company sales and credit policies and procedures.
– Stay informed about competing products and companies through ongoing training seminars.
– Develop and maintain self-confidence and a positive attitude towards the company and its customers.
2. Accountabilities:
– Maintain records of sales orders, customer quotations, and communications.
– Adhere to company QHSE policies and procedures.
3. Authorities and Benefits:
– Stop unsafe operations or activities that violate company HSE policy.
