We are looking for an ambitious and responsible Safety Officer to join our team. As a Safety Officer at our company, you will be responsible for creating and enforcing a culture of safety within our organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for facilitating compliance with occupational health and safety (OSH) guidelines.
Ensure safe working environment and prevent any injuries and accidents.
Plan and implement OHS policies and programs
Oversee workplace construction, erection, installations, repairs, and any other project’s works.
Advise, train and lead employees on various safety-related topics
Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis
Review existing policies and procedures
Adhere to all the rules and regulations
Work with HR to set up a new employee on-boarding process for safety
Conduct risk assessment
Enforce preventative measures
Identify process bottlenecks and offer timely solutions
Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations
Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes
Requirements and Qualifications
5 years of experience as a Safety Officer or similar role
BSc/BA in safety management or similar field
Certificate in occupational health and safety
Experience in construction projects within KNPC is an added value
Excellent knowledge of legislations and procedures
Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
Experience with writing policies and procedures for health and safety
Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
Proficient in MS Office
Working knowledge of safety management information system
Outstanding organizational skills

Great interpersonal and communication skills
Working Conditions:
Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions.
Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment).
Physical Requirements:
The job is rated for light work. Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
