The Architectural Site Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to the construction contractor and directly hiring construction crews engaged in the installation of architectural commodities for various buildings and stations. They will ensure that work is carried out safely, on time, to specification, and as per contract requirements.
Responsibilities
Supervising workers, subcontractors, and work activities, Late hours as mandated by landlord regulations.
Preparing and presenting site inductions, safety briefings, and toolbox talks.
Assessing and managing safety hazards.
Ensuring appropriate site rules and welfare facilities are in place.
Carrying out regular inspections/ reporting.
Helping project managers to plan the work program.
Helping coordinate deliveries of materials, plants, and equipment.
Inspect facilities and analyze operational data
Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Compile estimates for technical and material requirements for project development
Create graphical representations of proposed solutions
Prepare proposal documents and presentations
Compile and present reports explaining project details to non-technical stakeholders
Create work schedules and adjust as needed to meet project deadlines
Attending site management meetings when requested.
Carrying out regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements, processes, and procedures.
Raising safety concerns at the appropriate level.
Resolving problems and implementing improvements.
Organizing and overseeing external inspections, such as with a health and safety inspector.
Maintain detailed documentation of all site engineering activities
Reporting site conditions and communicating with mall management for any record, requirements, or site reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, construction, building sciences, or related fields.
Good communication skills in both Arabic and English; Spoken and written.
Fresh graduate with 1-2 years of experience.
