The ideal candidate will be a creative and analytical thinker. They will be able to conduct insightful market research to execute the company marketing strategy that will effectively reach the target audience. They should be comfortable handling the day to day marketing activities as per the yearly marketing calendar.
Responsibilities
Marketing Activities:
Liaise with the marketing manager to develop and implement marketing plans and strategies
Continuously explore latest marketing trends around the world especially those related to F&B industry
Prepare a marketing calendar that has pre-set events such as exhibitions, seminars, and sales events
Communicate with a range of stakeholders including colleagues, agencies, customers, suppliers and partners
Ensure having the best suppliers to work with when creating marketing materials
Maintain contact with clients and suppliers to ensure a good customer relationship
Discuss with suppliers the most suitable strategies to employ in relevance to their marketing needs
Organize and attend events related to the industry and company whenever needed
Identify advertising opportunities in media channels and reaching out for quotations and information
Make sure Bidfood’s brand guidelines are followed and applied on all mediums
Liaise with existing printing houses, photographers, collateral suppliers, and discover new ones when needed
Manage the production of offline marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, etc…
Collaborate with the assigned creative agency to produce captivating promotional material
Create internal & external reports that highlight the positives, negatives, and showcases the added value of the campaign
Constantly search for collaboration opportunities for our CSR program
Monitor our competition’s activities
Create a monthly Social Media calendar that covers all the international/national days, promotions, announcements, and generic content for Bidfood UAE with the suggested budgets for approval
Conceptualizing, writing, and proofreading content to create the correct captions
Engage with our followers on social media
Utilize our SM platforms to promote Bidfood and our partners products/services according to or target audiences
Conduct customer feedback collection through the means available
Promotion and boosting of posts on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google
Maintain and update customer databases especially for email marketing
Constantly update Bidfood’s website with all the new updated information
Continuously innovate in creating content that will maintain, improve and broadcast the company competitive advantage by covering the company image, employee value proposition, the exceptional services, portfolio, quality, and manpower
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
2 – 3 years of relevant experience
Strong analytical, communication, time-management and creativity skills
Strong ability to focus on customer/market and take initiative Experience with social media
FMCG experience
