Chief Technology Officer – FinTech – Saudi Arabia
Cander are partnering with a very early stage FinTech start-up who have recently raised pre-seed funding and are growing their team. They are looking for a Senior Technology professional to establish and grow the Technology function from scratch, working closely with the CEO and Board of Directors. The CTO will be an entrepreneurial professional with a strong engineering background.
This role would best suit a Senior Engineering professional looking for a step up. Being the first person within the Technology function, the CTO will be responsible for defining the technology stack, growing the Engineering team, creating a Technical Roadmap, establishing controls and choosing/managing relationships with vendors.
This role will be remote for an initial 3-month period then permanently based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Experience Required
Experience scaling up Software Engineering teams at FinTech organizations
Defining the technology stack and technology framework at an early stage startup
Presenting to Board of Directors, investors and working closely with regulatory authorities
FinTech experience within the GCC is essential
