We are pleased to offer you a temporary position as a Civil Engineer for our Bus Bays Station project. This is a 3-month contract role focused on overseeing and managing the construction and civil work involved in the development of bus bays.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate construction activities to ensure project timelines are met.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.
Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues that arise during construction.
Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to project management.
Ensure all construction work adheres to safety regulations and industry best practices.
Review and interpret engineering plans and drawings.
Assist in the procurement of materials and resources required for the project.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
7+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on construction projects.
Proven experience in managing and overseeing construction projects, preferably bus bays or similar infrastructure.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and safety regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
