Purpose:
The Dermatologist will join the leading medical Centre in Sultanate of Oman which is specialize in providing aesthetic services using laser technology, Dermatology/Anti-Aging Unit perform diagnostic and therapeutic Dermatologic procedures e.g. botox, dermal fillers, PRP. Our aim is to provide anti-ageing treatments and procedures that complement and enhance the existing beauty of our patients by helping to restore the youthful definition of the face and body.
Role and Responsibilities:
ü Provide aesthetic dermatology treatments like Botox, Filler, PRP, chemical peeing, HydraFacial, meso therapy …etc.
ü Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Dermatologic procedures e.g. botox, dermal fillers, PRP. Incumbent should have experience to use (laser) in all its dermatological applications as required.
ü Supervise the nurses to perform laser hair removal procedure using diode laser and carbon peel for patients as required
ü Supervise the nurses preform vacuum cavitation procedure to reduce the fats using sonic shaper
ü Perform skin tightening procedure to re generated the collagen in the skin
ü Provides consultation services to physicians of other specialties in his area of expertise (dermatology).
ü Completes all outpatient medical records, also participates in completing in-patient records (clinical examinations, diagnosis, orders, management plan, progress notes and discharge plans).
ü Responsible for writing and/or reviewing detailed medical reports whenever required by patients and/or companies.
ü Reviews journals, texts or periodicals in order to keep current on latest techniques, procedures, drugs and therapy.
ü Keeps confidentiality of the patient’s disease and does not provide any medical summaries or information about patients unless authorized according to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
ü Have degree in Medicine / Dermatology or equivalent from recognized university
ü Board Certified as dermatologist or has master degree in Dermatology
ü Minimum 3 years’ experience post-board certification or Master Degree
ü Having experience in aesthetic dermatology
ü Preferably age between 30 to 40 years old
ü Fluent in Arabic and English languages
ü Have excellent interpersonal and communications skills and Friendly
ü Can meet the requirement of Ministry of Health to obtain medical licenses and able to pass both prometric and VIVA Exams
