We are currently looking for a Senior Planning Manager at the programme level that’s capable of delivering within a PMC or Consultancy. Previous hospitality project experience is required.

Role Purpose:

The focus will be on successful delivery of the day-to-day planning and controls activities which will include liaison with the Client and their appointed representatives and consultants.

Role & Responsibility

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparation and management of overview and strategic programmes, including design, procurement, and construction schedules together with supporting information required schedules.
Coordinate and manage the preparation and development of target construction and procurement schedules together with associated information required schedules.
Establish and agree project reporting procedures, prepare and present monthly project progress.
Review the schedules and related documents from the Consultants and Contractors including monthly reports and analyse the content to ensure compliance with project objectives.
Review schedule trends to identify problem areas and recommend corrective action to the Employer, monitoring actual progress against planned progress.
Working closely with the Senior Controls Manager and Project Team to ensure that Master Programs are feasible, complies with the Project Master Plan and contractual documents.
Interface daily with all required third parties and internal management.
Carry out studies into scheduling, manning, and work flows as required.
Participate with the project management team, as directed by the Project Director, to achieve project deliverables.
Responsible for the drafting and implementation of the Project specific standard templates and procedures ensuring Project processes and procedures are being effectively implemented.

Experience

Your experience, knowledge, and skills should include:

Experience working in a client-focused environment – working closely with clients, colleagues, and other consultants to build and maintain relationships.
PMP, PMQ or other professional certifications preferred
Operating within large Hospitality programs and complex projects.
10 years of experience in Project Controls and specifically Planning.
5 years of experience in the Middle East.
Fluent in English (read, write, and speak)
Proficiency in the use of Primavera P6 and MS Excel using advanced formulas is essential.
Responsible for managing clients and stakeholders while striving to exceed their expectations.
Manage personal workload and a large part of projects in collaboration with the project lead.
Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player.

Qualifications/Skills

A University degree will be highly regarded.
