We are looking for a Simulation Lab Nurse who can provide educational support by explaining concepts, demonstrating procedures, and ensuring that participants understand the objectives of each simulation. Simulation Lab Instructor helps bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides instruction and remedial laboratory activities and clinical simulation instruction.
Assists students in all simulation laboratory activities.
Prepares equipment, supplies and physical set-up and break-down for simulation laboratory and simulation activities with students.
Assists in conducting the inventory of simulation laboratory equipment and supplies and assisting with the quality control of inventoried items.
Works with faculty to create, revise, and update simulation laboratory activities in coordination with curriculum objectives and goals.
Maintains standards of operation and implementation of all simulation laboratory activities as outlined for each activity.
Collaborates with the Simulator Laboratory Technician in preparing scenarios for simulation experiences.
Assists students in all simulation laboratory activities.
Prepares equipment, supplies and physical set-up and break-down for simulation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Must be a UAE National with Family Book
Bachelorโs degree in nursing (A masterโs degree in nursing is preferred).
3-5 years of experience in nursing education/clinical nursing instruction in simulation lab coordination.
Experience in working with both high and low-fidelity mannequins in a simulation environment is an added benefit.
Knowledge of patient safety, universal safety precautions, personal protective equipment and adult education theory.
Strong in technical aspects of simulation equipment, medical terminology, instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and data management
Strong interpersonal skills, MS Office skills, Audio-Visual equipment,
