They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Analyst for one of the leading Commodities Trading Company in UAE.
Job Location: JLT – Dubai.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Financial Analyst and 1 plus year of experience in commodity trading, preferably in metals, agri, or oil is mandatory.
Strong experience in creating reports and templates using data extraction and advanced Excel/Power BI/other reporting systems.
Deep understanding of hedge accounting methods, including accounting and reporting of futures and spot forward trades.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial reports for senior management, including weekly Customer wise margin reports / Weekly Business segment wise margin reports / Customer wise Historical equity reports etc.
Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and patterns, and provide insights to support business decisions.
Create reports and templates using advanced Excel/Power BI/other reporting systems.
Maintain the integrity of financial data and records.
Stay up-to-date on changes to accounting standards and regulations.
