Position:Painter (Finishing)
DIVISION: Fabrication
LOCATION: Saudi Arabia
Job Purpose:-
Responsible for mixing paints, matching color’s, preparing surfaces, and applying paint to these surfaces. May perform touch-ups or coordinate large painting projects related to the advertising industry.
Key Responsibilities:-
•Display knowledge of painting material and how to select,mix and apply them.
•Apply commercial painting techniques.
•Use appropriate painting tools(brushes, caulking guns etc)
•Display basic math skills.
•Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on ladders etc.
•Demonstrate competence in finishing and refinishing works.
•Paint, stain, polish, varnish using spray, brushes, and rollers.
•Clean, sand, sandblast, scrap, brush surfaces to prepare for paint.
•Repair and plaster surfaces to prepare for painting.
•Mix and color match paint as required.
•Work on waterproof surface,set glass,apply putty.
•Assist the production team with installation of exhibitions stands,kiosks,podiumsetc,as required.
•Closely follow instructions given to Painter in charge/Production
•Coordinators/Production Manager.
•Work in shifts and group companies as required by the management.
•Ensure cleanliness of work area and maintain a safe working environment.
•Assist other teams like metal,acrylic,VM,Installation,carpentry as and when required and learn the task to develop into an all- rounder.
•Maintain good conduct within the team..
•Participate in the HSE related activities.
•Report in case of any unsafe act or conditions occur inside the work premises.
•Carry out any activity in such a way it does not create any unsafe condition to co-worker.
•Be responsible for own safety and others safety as well.
Min Qualifications/ Skillset:-
•High school diploma/ ITI.
•1-4 yrs. of experience as a painter.
•Ability to use painting tools.
