Assistant Restaurant Manager Jobs in Saudi Arabia
Responsible for the smooth execution, overseeing and coordinating the planning, organizing, and retention of staff and customers. Executing the role of the restaurant manager when he is not available also he is responsible for the smooth running of the floor (service for the customers).
Accountabilities
Customers’ Satisfaction
Manage the customers’ journey within the restaurant including their welcoming, service, quality of food…etc. to ensure customers’ satisfaction and retention.
Build and maintain relationship with the restaurants’ guests to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
Operations Management
Supervise the implementation of the policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the Brand’s policies and governmental regulations.
Apply quality control on the service through close monitoring to the restaurant’s operations to ensure meeting the brand requirements and positioning in the market.
Execute smooth running of the floor service for the customers through managing the opening and closing duties (security, grooming, cleanliness).
Prepare the sales and cash report on the closing and consolidation from the system to ensure efficient financial report of the restaurant.
Ensure proper cost control & quality control on the bar and the floor through monitoring the operations.
Manage the restaurant’s inventory of the OS and Es to ensure availability of the required stock.
Implement the maintenance, hygiene, health & safety plan in the restaurant to ensure customers & staff safety & security during the assigned shift.
Staff Management
Manage and develop the performance of the restaurant team through providing performance feedback, appraisal and conversations, coaching…etc. to ensure the achievement of the restaurant’s objectives and to ensure proper development for the staff.
Manage the floor’s workforce through deciding on staff’s vacations, breaks…etc. to fulfill the operation needs and maintaining the quality of service.
Job holder accountabilities are not limited to the above mentioned, the line manager can assign additional responsibilities when required.
Education
Diploma or bachelor degree in hospitality
Experience
At least 3 years of operational experience in a similar position
